The Adidas Adizero Prime Accelerator Running Spikes are the ultimate tool and designed for the sprinter looking for race-ready spikes, comfort and performance. Key features of the product features include:
Introducing Adidas' new hoop-and-loop strap, located at the bottom the laces over the forefoot, is principally designed to lock the foot down onto the footbed over the toe box, reducing movement and slip inside the shoe whilst driving on your toes. The forefoot lockdown of these shoes is enhanced further by the combination of the synthetic leather and mesh upper. There is no chance of movement within the spikes optimizing power transfer into driving forward motion. The upper materials create an ultra-lightweight package, especially for a full plate sprint spike, meaning you'll accelerate that bit faster into those PB performances this season!
The Microsuede lining which is located throughout the spikes, delivers additional comfort to your feet resulting in a more placate feel while you’re wearing them.
Adidas have also included a SPRINTFRAME outsole plate, which gives you the added traction that is required and, combined with the additional Sharkskin material, completes that all-round great feel and responsiveness throughout the spikes which are suitable for sprint distances up to 400m. The rigid plate also reduces underfoot flex, promoting and supporting you when your up on your toes and further improving power transfer into forward motion.
Also, carrying on with the Adizero tradition they include the traditional Adidas logo located on the tongue, on the forefoot and the three stripes down both sides of the spikes.
If you’re looking for the kind of spike that will move you FAST, both away from the start and across the finish line, then the Adidas Adizero Prime Accelerator Running Spikes are fantastic to have in your arsenal. The PorscheTM 918 Spyder of running spikes, they can be found in our Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
